At Bromley’s Denture Clinic, we offer a wide range of denture to suit patient’s individual needs throughout the Tweed and Gold Coast. Often called false teeth or plates, dentures are prosthetic replacements for missing or extracted teeth. We offer solutions for every situation, including full dentures, acrylic and chrome framework partial dentures, and flexible designs. We have a qualified dental prosthetist and two qualified dental technicians in our ranks, ready to help you with various denture solutions.
Our professionals design dentures specifically for your situation, with unlimited try-in appointments to ensure you are happy with the appearance of your new denture before it is finished. It can take some time to adapt or adjust to your new denture, and we are here to help you every step of the way. We hope to help you feel more like yourself again.
We offer a range of options to help people throughout the region. Partial dentures can provide a solution for people who are missing some of their own teeth, which can help improve their ability to chew, speak and smile naturally. They are a more economical alternative to crowns and bridges or implants. We also offer full dentures for people who have no natural teeth remaining. These can help people feel more confident in their appearance by helping to support the lips and cheeks.
For some of our clients, flexible partial dentures can fill the space left by one or two missing teeth. This type of partial denture is made from thermoplastic nylon resin allowing it to be thinner and lighter than traditional partial acrylic dentures.
For the most secure fit, we offer implant retained overdentures. These are dentures which clip onto implants that are fixed in your jawbone. You will need to speak with your dentist about placing implants in your jaw, but we can make the denture to fit.

In addition to our standard dentures, our clinic is also equipped to manufacture Biofunctional Prosthetic System (BPS) dentures. These premium dentures use a more advanced technique and higher quality materials to manufacture the dentures, meaning better fit and function for you compared to standard dentures. The better quality teeth that are used give a more lifelike appearance, making it more challenging to detect.
At Bromley’s Denture Clinic, we also incorporate the Swiss Denture Concept into all our work. This process focuses on positioning denture teeth to anatomically correct positions, creating a natural look that correctly supports your remaining teeth.
After your denture has been completed, we will make as many appointments as you need to adjust your denture, free of charge, to make it feel as comfortable as possible. Our friendly team is always happy to hear from you and help you out in any way we can.
It’s natural for your jawbone to recede after teeth have been removed or lost. That’s why dentures can become loose or ill-fitting over time, leading to discomfort and a loss of function. Whether your denture has become loose or has been damaged, we offer clients same-day* relines and repairs.

There can be many reasons for dentures to fall out. Most commonly, the reason is that the supporting structure under the denture has shrunk and the denture no longer fits. To resolve this, a reline is required to improve the fit.
Dentures should be relined as the supporting structure under the denture is constantly changing shape. Due to this, dentures do not fit accurately after some time. Ill-fitting dentures can cause many problems, including tissue hyperplasia (excess tissue growth), loss of chewing ability due to loss of vertical dimension (distance between nose and chin) and breaking the denture due to forces on the denture being distributed unevenly.
One day. We like to see you at 8 am or 8.30 am to take an impression and give you the denture back at 2 pm or 2.30 pm the same day. If you cannot be here early in the day, the denture will be returned to you the following day.
Dentures should last eight to ten years with proper care and maintenance. Cleaning with soap and water will prevent abrading the dentures during cleaning and relining every two to three years will ensure the denture fits well.
Dentures need to be replaced as the supporting structure changes shape over time and the teeth wear.
This is dependent on the treatment that is required. Generally, a new set of dentures takes 2.5 to 3.5 weeks as we try to see you once every three working days. This can vary depending on your ability to make appointments, chrome frameworks being made, or even public holidays.
Yes. We do not keep your old dentures. This is in case you have any sore spots. In the short term, you can wear the old dentures until the sore spots are fixed. In the long term, it is handy for when the new dentures need to be relined, so you do not have to go without teeth for a day. If the new dentures ever break, you have a spare set until the dentures are repaired. Or, if you ever lose the dentures, it can get you through until a new set can be constructed.
We recommend using soap and water with a denture brush to clean the denture. Denture brushes are available for purchase from reception. You should never use toothpaste to clean your denture. If there is a stain on the denture, try soaking it in brown vinegar overnight. You can also try half a glass of warm water with a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda or mix the vinegar with the bicarbonate of soda.
